Misconceptions About Almeda University Life Experience Degrees

Search the internet for online degrees, and you will most likely encounter the term ‘life experience degree' and also the attached stigma. I suggest, take it with a pinch of salt. Here's why.

It is a daring statement, but yet, almost ALL of them have got their concepts wrong. Wow! How come? It's simple. None of them understand the real reason behind a life experience degree, and none of them has ever tried to find out!

So What Is Life Experience Like?

Life experience is a term used to denote the ‘practical familiarity' with something. You have been a coder for ten years. You have not studied anywhere, you have learnt on your own. There is a person who has paid and studied same thing as you and has a certificate to show for it. Does it mean that he is a competent as you? Does it mean he is as proficient at coding as you are?

Now when you apply for a job, you may be turned down in favor of that fresher. Why? Because he has a ‘certification'. Aren't you feeling that even you should have a certification of sorts?

Exactly!

That is exactly what Almeda University does! It recognizes your talent, in other words, your experience; and if you are able to prove it, you are awarded a degree good enough in 67% of all corporations. Take note, however; the degree is INVALID for claiming jobs in the public sector.

So why is Almeda University being scoffed like that? Again a misconception - the so called "diploma mills" take Almeda as a threat to their existence; solely on account of its superiority over them in every aspect. They fail to understand that Almeda is not a threat - it is just a blessing in disguise for those who are not having a degree to boot.

We need to broaden our mindset over these issues which plague the society; we need to ramp up our existing system to bring equality to the masses. Together we need to counter the statement once made by someone - some people are more equal than others.

Let us prove him wrong. Let us bring the un-degree-d at par with the degree-d.
